DECA students from FHSD competed at the state level on March 24-26 in Kansas City, Missouri. Over 1,800 high school students from across the state came together this year for the state competition. These events help prepare students for a future in marketing, management, and merchandising. DECA teaches students to assume responsibility for self-improvement and discipline and set a realistic self-concept through a variety of activities.
